Terms and Conditions for Boarding at Pigs On Petals Hotel

Only healthy pets are accepted. Pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed upon booking. If your pet does have a medical condition, details of the condition and treatment required must also be given. 

Our guinea pig suites are disinfected between guests. 

In the unlikely event your pet becomes sick, we will transport your pet to the local vet, however, all cost will be in the owner's name and address and will be the responsibility of the owner. 

Sadly small animals can succumb to illness and sometimes pass away very suddenly. If this does happen, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes should you pet pass away in our care. Pigs On Petals Hotel can accept no liability in the event of your pets passing away in our care. 

Payment must be made in advance of your pet's stay, payment details will be confirmed upon booking. 

We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for dry feed purchased if you do not provide adequate feed to cover the lenght of your pets stay. 

To book we ask for a 50% deposit of the total amount to be paid, the remainder to be paid on the drop off day. You will not be booked in if you haven't paid the 50% deposit. 

If you collect your pet earlier than the departure date stated on your booking confirmation, you are still liable for the full amout of your pet's stay. 

If the booking is canceled 7 days before the agreed drop off date there will be no cancelation fee. If the booking is canceled 6 days or less before the agreed drop off date a 50% cancelation fee will be applicable, your 50% deposit will not be refunded. 

We are a small boarding business and cannot guarentee extensions of stay will be granted. Any extension of stay will be chargable at current daily prices. 

Small animal boarding does not require a licence or have the same rules and regulations as large animal boarding like dogs or cats. All animals are left with Pigs On Petals Hotel at their owners risk. We also take no responsibility for pregnancies.

Animal insurance is the responsibility of the pet owner. At Pigs On Petals we do not accept liability for accident, injury, illness, theft and death. We also do not cover against public liability and also take no responsibility for pregnancies.

In placing a booking with Pigs On Petals Hotel, you agree that you have read and accept our terms and conditions in full. 

For all boarders, a boarding contract must be signed by you, which confirms your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions. You will also be asked to complete a Form, giving us details about your individual pet/s and their needs, routine, habits, likes and dislikes etc.

Terms and Conditions for the purchase of Guinea Pig, Hamster & Rabbit Treats sold by Pigs On Petals (Pantry/Bakery)

1. Acceptance: By placing an order from Pigs On Petals Pantry/Bakery, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

2. Orders: All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time, for any reason. 

3. Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of order. We accept all major payment gateways. 

4. Shipping: Shipping cost will be calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for any delays or damages caused by the shipping courier. 

5. Returns and Exchanges: Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. 

6. Product Liability: We are not liable for any harm caused to your pet as a result of consuming our products. It is your responsibility to ensure that our products are suitable for your pet. Please read out product labels carefully. 

7. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of Staffordshire, England.

Terms and Conditions for the purchase of a Guinea Pig from Pigs On Petals 

1. General: 

  • All guinea pigs are sold by Pigs On Petals and are bred and cared for with the highest welfare standards.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we believe the buyer is not prepared to provide proper care.
  • Guinea pigs are sold as pets only and must not be used for breeding unless agreed upon in writing. 

2. Health and Welfare: 

  • All guinea pigs will be in good health to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. 
  • We do not sell guinea pigs under 5 weeks old to ensure they are fully weaned and healthy.
  • While we strive to ensure all guinea pigs are healthy, we cannot guarantee lifelong health and do not offer refunds for health issues that arise after collection. 
  • If a health issue is discovered within 24 hours of collection please contact us immediately. We do not offer refunds or replacements. 

3. Reservations and Payments: 

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total bill is required to reserve a guinea pig. 
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full before or on collection 
  • If the deposit is not made the guinea pig will still be available to other buyers. 
  • The deposit is non-refundable, we do not offer refunds in any circumstances unless it was Pigs on Petals fault. 

4. Collection and Transport: 

  • Guinea pigs must be collected in person at a mutually agreed time. We do not offer delivery. 
  • Buyers must bring a suitable pet carrier for safe transportation. 
  • If the buyer cannot collect the guinea pig on the agreed date, they must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. We can then arrange a new collection date at our discretion. 

5. Care Agreement: 

  • By purchasing a guinea pig, the buyer agrees to provide appropriate housing, diet, and veterinary care. 
  • Guinea pigs are social animals and should not be housed alone unless exceptional circumstances apply. We strongly recommend adopting at least 2 guinea pigs together. 
  • We are happy to provide guidance on care and recommend reputable resources. 

6. Returns and Rehoming: 

  • If you can no longer care for your guinea pig, we request that you contact us first. We may assist in rehoming but do not guarantee us finding them a new home. We do not offer refunds or buy-backs.

7. Liability: 

  • Pigs On Petals is not responsible for any veterinary costs after the guinea pig has left our care.
  • Once the guinea pig has been collected, the buyer assumes full responsibility for its welfare and care.
